THE KREWE'S OWN ARTWORK

The logo files in logo/, the color palette, and the swatch sheet in colors/
are released by the Krewe of Arthur Dent under the

In plain terms, you may use, copy, modify, and distribute this artwork —
including commercially, including on things you sell — provided that you:

  1. ATTRIBUTION. Credit the Krewe of Arthur Dent, indicate whether you
     changed anything, and link to the license where it is practical to do
     so. On a coozie, "Krewe of Arthur Dent" is plenty.

  2. SHARE-ALIKE. If you distribute a modified version of the artwork,
     release it under CC BY-SA 4.0 as well. This applies to the artwork you
     changed, not to everything you print it on — putting the logo on a
     shirt does not license the shirt.

  3. NO EXTRA RESTRICTIONS. Don't apply legal terms or technical measures
     that stop anyone else from doing what the license permits.

You do not need to ask anyone's permission, and there is nobody to ask.


THE FONTS

The typefaces in fonts/ are NOT covered by the above. They are not ours to
license. Bungee, Fredoka, and Space Mono are each distributed under the

  SIL Open Font License 1.1
  https://openfontlicense.org/

Each font folder carries its own OFL.txt, which the OFL requires you to keep
alongside the font if you pass it on. The OFL permits use, modification, and
commercial use; its main restriction is that you may not sell the font files
on their own, and a modified font may not keep the original's name.


TRADEMARK-ISH NOTE
------------------
CC licenses cover copyright, not identity. Please don't use the logo in a way
that implies the krewe endorses something it doesn't, or that you speak for
the krewe when you don't. This isn't a legal threat; it's the obvious ask.
